Milngavie town centre became a Business Improvement District (BID) in May 2014, following a democratic vote by all 150 businesses in the town. Each BID term lasts for five years and the Milngavie Town Centre BID Ltd is run by volunteer directors as well as a part-time BID team.

Due to tangible continuous improvements made to the town as well as the numerous marketing campaigns and events each year, there is a genuine welcoming atmosphere for all the family.

Milngavie businesses voted in favour to continue as a BID in 2019 and again in 2024, extending the BID time to 15 years. The passionate group running the BID plan to continue all the work that has been completed for the benefit of the whole town.

The decision to sponsor a Maggie’s Scottie Dog was an easy one, and we look forward to welcoming visitors over the summer to meet our wee Scottie in Milngavie.
