We would like to thank all our incredibly talented artists for their dedication in bringing their beautiful Scottie designs to life. Take part in the trail to see all their works of art for yourself!
Showcasing artist talent on our scotties
We were blown away by the response to our call for Scottie designs last autumn, receiving nearly 300 applications from artists all over the UK, with some international submissions too.
At our art selection event earlier this year at The Briggait, Glasgow, our sponsors helped us shortlist and select the final designs that would become part of the Scotties in the City trail.
Buchanan Galleries shopping centre kindly donated a painting space, where our artists came together in the spring to decorate the Scotties with their designs.
Each design has its own story, and we can’t wait for you to uncover them as you take part in the trail!
Scotties in the City launches on 18 June 2026 and the trail will be live until 16 August, after which the Scotties will be auctioned to raise vital funds for Maggie’s.
Making a difference
The Scotties in the City trail in Glasgow is a joyous celebration of local art and culture. We know how much it means to our artists to be involved, and we are filled with gratitude to everyone who has contributed to this art trail.
The best way to see all the fantastic designs is to take part in the trail.
Our 40 giant Scotties (and some wee ones too) will be available to buy at auction at our event taking place on Thursday 10 September 2026.
All proceeds from the sale will go to Maggie’s, helping us provide expert cancer support to everyone facing a cancer diagnosis, and their friends and family.
