In 1898, Joseph Walker opened the doors of his bakery with the vision of creating ‘The World’s Finest Shortbread’. Since then, Walker’s has become a household name for its buttery shortbread biscuits, exporting its products all around the world.
True to its roots, Walker’s tests every new product in Aberlour’s village shop, to get the seal of approval from the locals.
Community is a core value of Walker’s, as it is across the Highlands and Scotland. The business is still family run, with many employees from the same families across different generations working for Walker’s today.
