DescriptionThe pupils wanted the Scottie to represent the diversity of St. Joseph’s Primary School as well as acknowledge the Commonwealth Games coming to Glasgow. The flags represent some of the Commonwealth nations and the cultural background of many of our families. The thistle and cone reflect a Scottish heritage and the iconic Duke of Wellington statue. The pupils also wanted SSAFA to be represented as a thank you for donating the Scottie to St. Joseph’s.
