Parkington

Description

At Parkview Primary, each pupil created their own Scottie design. This geometric concept was selected as the winning entry for the sculpture due to its bold, eye-catching qualities and its ability to involve pupils from across the entire school during the painting stage. The inspiration for this geometric design came from our focus on exploring different elements of art, including shape and colour, as well as learning about a range of artists throughout the year. The bold shapes and abstract style draw inspiration from artists such as Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky, and Romero Britto.
