Bramble

Description

Meet Bramble, our Larbert High School Scottie girl who celebrates our areas rich industrial heritage and wildlife of the Carron Dams nature reserve. Bramble’s design features imagery and symbols of the Carron Iron Works, with iconic Phoenix with the motto “Esto Perpetua” (Lasts Forever) as the products made to last. Queen Victoria and Rabbie Burns even visited the works, inspiring a poem. The highland cow image echoes back to the historic Larbert Tryst cattle markets. Bramble mirrors the site’s transformation from an industrial powerhouse into the Carron Dams Nature Reserve. From iron industry symbols to the diverse flora and fauna of its current SSSI status, Bramble bridges the gap between our town’s world-famous past and its vibrant, wild future.
