Scottie the Bruce
DescriptionScottie the Bruce stands proudly in defence of his Kingdom, clad in chain mail and with his signature Battle Axe. He is widely acclaimed as a Scottish hero who fought for independence and reigned as King from 1306 to 1329. Legend has it that during a period of despair, Robert the Bruce, while in hiding, observed a spider endeavouring to spin a web. The relentless efforts are said to form the inspiration for the saying “If at first you don’t succeed..try try again “. It is only fitting that the wee spider is also included in the design.
