We Have The Right To Belong
DescriptionAt Yokerburn Nursery we believe all children have the right to belong. Our children have created wonderful drawings based on 4 categories – “We belong to ourselves”, “We belong to our home”, “We belong to our nursery” & “We belong to our community”. Our Scottie is named Mungo, to represent the patron saint and founder of Glasgow. Mungo’s jacket represents a safe and nurturing protective space that all nurseries strive to provide for their children. The staff at Yokerburn Nursery and nurseries across the city work hard to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can find their own sense of belonging in the world.
